Mont Synthesis H-Series Horizontal Standard Shower Surround Kit
Mont Synthesis H-Series Horizontal Standard Shower Surround Kit provides a lightweight, durable, and luxurious surfacing material for your standard, three-wall, alcove shower surround or tub surround. Synthesis panels feature a mechanical fastening system and an integral, moisture-resistant backer, saving time at installation and significantly reducing breakage. Patent Pending.
- Pre-cut, modular panels are ideal for any standard-sized, three-wall, alcove shower up to 60”W x 36”D
- Can be used for smaller showers and tub surrounds by simply cutting the panels to the required dimensions
- Two horizontal panels are stacked to make a 94-1/2”H shower surround
- Linear patterns run horizontally when installed
- Includes two back-wall panels and four side-wall panels
- Designed to be installed from inside the shower where there is no access to the backside of the shower walls.
- Includes all materials to install the complete shower surround
- Ships in a corrugated carton on a 53”W x 65”L wooden pallet
Mont Synthesis H-Series Horizontal Porcelain Composite Wall Panels
Mont Synthesis H-Series horizontal porcelain composite wall panels are a lightweight, durable, and luxurious surfacing material for your shower surround, tub surround, or feature wall. Synthesis panels feature a mechanical fastening system and an integral moisture-resistant backer to save time at installation and significantly reduce breakage. Large format panels are stacked to provide a shower surround that is 94-1/2”H with one horizontal seam on all walls.
- Full-sized panels are shipped at 94-1/2”W x 47-1/4”H with three tracks mounted lengthwise on the back of the panel
- Ideal for larger three-wall showers and many custom configurations
- Linear patterns run horizontally when installed
- Can be installed from inside the shower using our proprietary and enhanced mounting system or from the backside of the shower using our back-of-wall attachment system.
- Currently ships in a 56” w x 103” long flat, wooden crate
Installation Kit Accessories
The KBRS Linear Tile-Basin® is a rock-solid alternative to a field-sloped mortar bed.
It is specifically designed to protect your shower long term. The patented 1/8” perimeter flange
facilitates water taking the path of least resistance directly into the drain. The protective barrier
flange is guaranteed to prevent moisture from escaping the system from behind the wall, substrate or sub-floor.
(Our system works with many other shower pan options)
KBRS is the RECOMMENDED Tile-Basin®. Multiple shower pan options can also be used with the System.

Mont Synthesis Installation Kit
The Mont Synthesis Installation Kit includes essential tools for installing any Synthesis shower or tub surround.
- Aluminum jigs make it simple and easy to correctly place the brackets at the correct heights on the studs/surface to align with the panel tracks
- Adjustable from 34"W to 60"W, accommodating most standard shower and tub dimensions
- Adjustable for height of tub or shower using joining bracket(s) after field modification
- Smaller shower sizes may be accommodated via field modification
- Contents include the following:
- one vertical aluminum jig
- one epoxy applicator gun for use with a 250ml 10:1 cartridge
- One-time tool purchase can be used for multiple Synthesis installations
Mont Synthesis Cutting Kit
The Mont Synthesis Cutting Kit includes an assortment of recommended blades, bits, and tooling for use in trimming, scribing, and modifying Mont Synthesis wall panels.
- Kit consists of the recommended tooling to cut and machine Synthesis panels. Core bits are included in the most-commonly used sizes.
- Contents include the following:
- one 5” porcelain cutting blade
- one 3/8” diameter core bit
- one 1-1/4” diameter core bit
- one 3-1/2” diameter core bit
- one small finger bit
- one 4” backer pad
- one 4” dry diamond polishing pad
- All tooling for use with an electric angle grinder with a 5/8”-11 arbor. Variable speed and minimum 13 amps recommended.
- Additional tooling may be required on an as-needed basis for more custom installations.
- Can be used for multiple Synthesis installations
- Angle grinder not included.
